WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SHIFT TEAM LEADER

Due to continued success and further expansion, we are now seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Shift Team Leader. This exciting and varied role requires an experienced and talented operational professional with proven capabilities in managing and developing a warehouse and logistics team. The successful candidate will understand the importance of exceeding customer expectations and be a leader who can inspire their team to deliver exceptional service.

Role & Responsibilities of the Warehouse & Logistics Shift Team Leader:

* Supervise teams in a ‘hands-on’ capacity to develop and motivate staff within warehousing and logistics.

* Oversee departmental relationships, ensuring cohesion and synergy.

* Work closely with all departments to ensure account execution exceeds customer expectations.

* Maximise profitable business through efficiencies and improvements.

* Ensure all elements of Health & Safety, as well as ISO9001 and ISO14001 compliance, are embedded within the department.

* Be creative, adaptable, and flexible.

* Drive performance to exceed KPI targets, contribute to company objectives, and develop the department within a rewarding and challenging environment.

About You – Warehouse & Logistics Shift Team Leader:

* Extensive hands-on experience with a thorough understanding of leading and developing warehousing and logistics teams.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage change and motivate others.

* Ability to execute operational strategy within budget.

* Attention to detail and a focus on quality.

* Strong commercial acumen and business awareness.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong influencing and problem-solving abilities.

* Decisive judgment and evaluation skills.

* Intelligent and articulate, with high levels of critical reasoning.

* Highly motivated, with the ability to measure operational effectiveness.

* Forklift truck trained.
