A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, skilled, time served Engineer to join a successful, well-established and market-leading business on a full time, permanent basis in Fakenham, Norfolk.

This is a Mon to Fri position, 2.30pm to 11pm. Some flexibility is required due to the nature of the role to cover a 10.30am to 7pm shift every third Friday and a 6am to midday shift, every third Saturday.

Directly reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will provide support in relation to all maintenance tasks and projects, including day to day breakdown, PPM, equipment updates, new installations, and building/infrastructure upgrades. Duties will extend to ensuring all PPM activities are completed on time as required, handing over and sharing information and best practice with your counterpart on the opposite shift, providing input into continuous improvement of plant, machinery, and maintenance activities, improving equipment performance, reliability and running costs for replacement parts and consumables, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with the site H&S instructions and maintaining excellent communication with your co-workers.

You should be prepared to challenge the status quo to suggest ways in which the department, and success of the team can be made better and your input with regards to creative solutions to problems will be encouraged.

From a skills perspective you will need Electrical Installation 17th Edition, be experienced with mechanical and electrical maintenance, possess electrical fault finding expertise to component level and hold a mechanical or electrical C&G.
