Highly regarded consultancy are seeking a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join their well-established team in Newcastle. They have a healthy pipeline of work across the North East & Yorkshire, focusing on commercial new build, fitout and residential schemes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction/civil sector.

Responsibilities:

* Liaising with site staff and communicating with all parties involved in the project.

* Reviewing and maintaining systems for the company and recommending improvements

* Attending deisgn and project meetings.

* Working alongside a close-knit team but also in a very autonomous role

* Comprehending and carrying out thorough reviews of site project information and construction drawings, and identification of design, construction and maintenance risks through Design Risk Reviews.

* Overseeing preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information and CPP’s.

* Monthly reporting

Requirements:

* Minimum of 6 months experience in HSE role.

* A thorough understanding of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, and other associated H&S legislation.

* NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.

* Previous experience of working in the construction and/or civil sector is essential

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Full UK drivers license
