About Us:
We are recruiting for an established Marine & Civil Engineering Contractor that deliver high-quality projects that make a lasting impact. They are now looking for a dedicated and skilled Site Agent to join their team on a marine package on a multi-billion pound project . The package consists of Sheet Piling , Construction of Cofferdams, remediation and much more . Ideally the agent they are looking for will have experience within a marine environment but they will accept experience within Civil Engineering on major projects for Tier 1 contractors.
Please note that if you do not live within a commutable distance of Ipswich,they are able to provide lodge.
Role Overview:
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will manage teams, coordinate resources, and liaise with clients and contractors to ensure deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the site operations to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of projects.
Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication and addressing any issues promptly.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Produce and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Oversee health and safety on-site, ensuring all protocols are followed.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role in the [construction/engineering/related] industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams and contractors.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
A proactive and hands-on approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
[Any specific qualifications, e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, HNC/HND, or degree in Civil Engineering or related field].
