Are you a Behaviour Mentor looking for a new full time role in London? Can you get the most out of disengaged 11-16 year olds with challenging behaviour?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join this supportive alternative education provider in central London. This is a full time, long-term role starting in January for the rest of the academic year *upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The role:

Working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional literacy
Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements

As Behaviour Mentor you will need:

Experience of supporting children and young people with SEBD/SEMH
Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
A caring and professional manner
