Smile Education South Yorkshire is working in partnership with an Academy Trust based in Chesterfield, South Yorkshire. They need a Maths Teacher for their Secondary School, long term and permanent for the right candidate.
 
This role will suit a teacher who is willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the pupils and the academy. You will also be allocated a form and be a tutor for this role.
 
The right person will be personable, happy and having a positive attitude to be able to support & educate children who have had a difficult journey within school, so far. Applicants should be resilient, have high expectations, and a sense of humour.
 
Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with some challenging pupils in a school or other alternative setting. Experience working with SEMH students, will also be beneficial.
 
The successful Maths Teacher must have:

2 education-based references
You must have a UK teaching experience.
Experience and knowledge with ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, autism
Experience with EHCP’s
Good approach to behaviour management
