Part-Time Finance Assistant

Location: Bridport
Hours: 20–25 hours per week (flexible, over three days)
Salary: £14.00 per hour

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

✔ Processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
✔ Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
✔ Assisting with payroll processing, including annual leave accruals and sick leave reporting.
✔ Supporting the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
✔ Liaising with suppliers, donors, and funding bodies regarding financial matters.
✔ Managing accruals, prepayments, and journals.
✔ Understanding end-of-month processes related to management accounts.
✔ Handling payroll tasks, including annual leave accruals and sick leave reporting.

About You

✅ Experience in a finance or accounts role.
✅ Proficiency in accounting software.
✅ Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
✅ Knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and journals.
✅ Understanding of end-of-month processes for management accounts.
✅ Experience in payroll, including annual leave accruals and sick leave reporting.
