NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Benefits Realisation Associate to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Realisation Associate who will perform a wide range of economic analyses such as competitive trends, pricing, product line evaluation, product savings and wider benefits to the system. They will analyse and report on savings and pressures to the NHS system including economic trends such as the effects of government legislation. They will also appraise the financial effect on the company and the NHS and develop long-range plans. They will manage internal controls and validations on reported results. This is a high-level analytical position combining a thorough knowledge of accounting and finance issues with business sense
Every day you will …
Accurately prepare a variety of analytical and reporting documents including Monthly Savings Balancing & Reporting Packs, Daily/Weekly Pipeline reports, Manual and Transactional Savings Forecasting, Team KPIs, Team SOPs and additional AD HOC requests.
Provide continuous improvement of current reporting processes, by implementing improvements to efficiency, accuracy and/or accessibility.
Design, produce and implement new reporting requirements.
Support the Benefits Realisation Reporting Manager in savings reviews with key stakeholders.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
Advanced Excel expertise and must be able to utilise and understand complex nested formulae along with the ability to manage large and complex data sets. The ability to utilise lookups (V, X, Index/Match etc.) and Pivots is essential. There will be a competency-based Excel test as part of the interview process.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong stakeholder experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience using tools such as MS Access, Cognos and Power BI would be beneficial.
Previous experience in an analytical/reporting role is desirable.
