My client in Poole is currently in need of a CNC Turner due to ongoing expansion.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced CNC Turner – Programmer, Setter & Operator with a strong background in subcontract precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC multi-axis lathes (Fanuc & Manual Guide)

* Manufacturing precision components from materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminum, and plastic

* Producing various quantities, from prototypes to medium batch runs

* Performing first-off inspections using verniers, thread gauges, and micrometers

* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation

The Ideal Candidate

* Industry experience in a subcontracting environment with frequent daily changes

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc & Manual Guide programming

* Experience operating CNC lathes with a bar feed system

* Ability to change and reset machines independently multiple times per day

* Attention to detail, capable of detailed deburring and first-off inspections

* Strong work ethic—reliable, proactive, and loyal in previous roles

* Ability to manage two machines simultaneously

Working Hours

* Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

* Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of Fanuc programming experience (required)

* Ability to work on-site in Poole

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour + Overtime & Bonus
