Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hull
Salary: £37,689 (This is inclusive of a £1 per hour uplift on nights)
Working Hours: Rotating 3 Shift Pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am) Rotating weekly

Position Overview:
Our client, a well-established and growing injection moulding company, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of their production machinery and maintaining high standards of production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and Repair: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to minimise downtime.
* Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Process Optimisation: Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory management.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Shift Work: Work on a rotating 3 shift pattern to ensure continuous production support.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an injection moulding environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or apprenticeship) in a related field.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work a rotating 3 shift pattern.
