Job Title: Tenancy Sustainment Officer/Homelessness Assessment Officer

Location: Tower Hamlets

Hours Per Week: 35 Hours

Rate of Pay: £26-£27 P/H (Umbrella)

Tower Hamlets are currently looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer / Homelessness Assessment Officer to join their Housing team.

Main Duties:

Provide comprehensive support and advocacy for homeless households to sustain tenancies, including needs assessments, support plans, and resettlement assistance.
Collaborate with multiple services (e.g., Health, Social Care, Probation) to maintain local connections, address tenancy risks, and explore training, employment, and life skills opportunities.
Offer advice on benefits, debt management, and budgeting, and refer vulnerable households to appropriate agencies for additional support.
Contribute to council strategies and performance goals, maintain effective communication with customers and partners, and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions.
