Integrated Transport Manager

Are you a dynamic and driven transport professional passionate about creating safer, more efficient, and accessible communities? Our client is seeking an experienced Integrated Transport Manager to lead our team in transforming the region's transportation network.

About the Role:

As an Integrated Transport Manager, you'll be a key player in shaping the client's transportation landscape. You will:

* Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage and inspire a team of transport professionals dedicated to delivering traffic improvement and road safety schemes.

* Drive Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement policies, strategies, and programs to enhance traffic flow, safety, and accessibility.

* Deliver Impactful Projects: Oversee the implementation of traffic calming measures, road safety enhancements, and accessibility improvements, along with associated traffic regulation orders.

* Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis to assess the impact of traffic on the network and inform evidence-based solutions.

* Collaborate for Success: Work closely with senior officers, elected members, and various council teams to ensure alignment with priorities and policy documents.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven Experience: A successful track record in a similar role, preferably with a traffic engineering/management background.

* In-Depth Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of highway and traffic legislation and regulations, including the Highways Act, Traffic Signs Regulations, General Directions, and the Traffic Management Act.

* Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze statistical data and translate it into actionable insights.

* Strategic Mindset: Experience in developing and implementing policies and strategies.

* Communication Excellence: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

* Team-Oriented Approach: A collaborative and inclusive leadership style to foster a high-performing team.

* Level 5 Qualification: As per role profile requirements (please refer to attached guidance).
