About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a primary school pupil in Poole. Your role will focus on supporting the child’s learning, emotional well-being, and social development, enabling them to thrive in a nurturing school environment. This position is ideal for residential care workers or those with similar backgrounds, as many skills are highly transferable.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support, focusing on individual needs and adapting to the pupil's learning style.
Build a trusting and positive relationship with the child to enhance their confidence and engagement.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to tailor learning activities.
Support with social skills, emotional regulation, and behavior management.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children, especially in a care or residential setting.
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with SEN pupils.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
