We are looking to recruit experienced and dedicated Learning Disability Support Worker to care for our service users across the Accrington area. We are recruiting staff on a temporary to permanent basis where you will be on a probation period for 3 months before you move across permanently.

To apply for this role, you will need :-

* Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare within UK as learning disability support worker

* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

* Willingness to work with ex-offenders who have learning disabilities and have experienced trauma

* To be strong minded, resilient in character and able to set strong but fair boundaries with the people you support

Shift details :-

A shift pattern of 5 days, 2 days off – every other weekend off

Working hours are 9-4, 4-11 + sleep (for example a week would look like this - Monday 9-4, Tuesday 4-11 + sleep, Wed 9-4, Thursday 4-11+ sleep and then Friday 9-4). You would then be off 4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday before starting the same pattern again Monday. The weeks in which you are working weekends, you will start on the Wednesday and finish Sunday PM and then have Monday and Tuesday off

Pay rates :-

Weekday: £14.90

Sat/Night: £15.25

Sleeps: £40
