We’re looking for innovative and dynamic individual with a working knowledge of schools financial management system, for example SIMS FMS, ACCESS etc with a clear understanding of school financial management processes, an enthusiasm and passion to enable schools to understand their school’s budget, meet statutory requirements and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate must have a 'can do' attitude, an ability to work on their own supporting a number of different school based staff and to be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team.

The role will be temporary in the first instance initially until 31st March 2025.

Candidate must have an Enhanced DBS

The candidate must have experience within finance and if they have accountancy qualification that would be considered, be a good communicator and be able to work as a team, also they need to be good with figures.

The candidate will be requested to visit schools and expense can be claimed from office base to the location.

The role will require a full clean driving licence and access to a car to visit schools onsite.

Systems used are SIMS (FMS), Access and Excel but there will be training. Interviews will be held at County Hall.

Working hours are flexible especially around school term. Candidate will need to have a couple of weeks at County Hall to complete induction and training then the manager can look at Hybrid working
