This is a new function created to improve and focus on strengthening the technical robustness of the Products our customers enjoy. The role will include ownership of definition, design, implementation and in-life operational support, whilst feeding into the propositions marketing manager, the sales teams, customer operations and technology teams.
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of the ISP and Telco industry and will be experienced at influencing, assisting and coordinating across business support, technical and operational functions to deliver new Products and improve existing offerings.
Key Accountability & Responsibilities
Ownership of Technical delivery of both existing and new Services and Products for Gigaclear Customers
Working with Proposition managers and other key stakeholders in the CMO directorate to define and agree Product features, functionality and capabilities required
Working with Technology teams, 3rd parties and the Project Manager to develop implementation projects
Responsible for delivery of new Products from inception to Technically Ready state
Responsible for in-life oversight of Products to ensure they continue to meet the original design intent and the defined features, functionality and capabilities
Working with all interested parties to consider implementation and in-life management impacts on all business departments in Gigaclear
Contribute to and support the Proposition managers (or other relevant stakeholders) in the development of business cases and ROI models for each Product, including in-life operational management
Working with Technology teams, and Business stakeholders to overcome obstacles to delivery and mitigation of risks
Working with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Finance and other business support functions to ensure that Products are complete, well considered, compliant and secure
Working with QA teams, business stakeholders and operations leaders to define and execute adequate test programmes to assure Technical Readiness
Delivery of agreed Products to Technically Ready state, on time and to budget
Define and provide training to internal teams to support Operational Readiness
Provide accurate and complete visibility of all initiatives in an easy to consume manner
Measure, report, analyse and continually improve the performance of our Products
Knowledge & Skills
Most likely, you will come from a technical engineering background with relevant experience in our industry
Prior experience of managing the technical implementation of digital products, end to end
Knowledge of the product artifacts required, including roadmaps, prototyping and research techniques
Negotiation skills both internally and externally with 3rd parties
Proficient at coordinating across large groups of people from different departments, companies and at various levels
Strong communicator able to influence and gain support across multiple stakeholder groups
Experienced at training and imparting knowledge in a manner consumable by varied audiences with different areas of technical or business speciality
Good documentation skills, organised and detail oriented
Not afraid to learn new things, explore opportunities and think creatively
Passionate about measuring, reporting and visualising progress, performance and statuses
