ABOUT THE ROLE

A exciting opportunity has arisen to join this fast paced Manchester based business. The Product Manager will support the further growth and expansion of this company, due to the continued success. The role would suit a candidate at Buyer level who will relish the autonomy and ownership available with the role.

Responsibilities:

* To develop and source innovative products for the customer across the core range

* Build and maintain brand relationships with the responsibility of product approvals.

* Manage relationships with suppliers in the Far East and secure best pricing.

* Monitor the market and identify upcoming trends.

* You will explore your passion for product in a creative and collaborative environment where you will be given the autonomy of your ranges.

* Work closely with all key stakeholders (sales team, in-house design team and QC)

* Responsible for documenting and maintaining all product details/ specifications onto internal system.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate for this role must be motivated and passionate with a strong background within the import sector with a focus on Far Eat buying.

Additional requirements:

* You will need to be an experienced buyer/product manager within the consumer product industry who has a proven track record of working well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience of developing product from concept idea stage

* Have the ability to lead and execute ambitious range plans throughout each season.

* Consumer product experience with strong commercial and market awareness is required.

* A numerate, articulate & creative individual with strong communication and organisation skills.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The client is based in Manchester and operates within the Retail/Wholesale space. They are predominantly office based. You must live within commutable distance to be considered

SALARY

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE + KPI Bonus
