KS3 and KS4 Maths Teacher – Birmingham

Full-time position

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in Birmingham, who are looking for a talented Maths teacher to join their department. The full-time role starts in September 2024, and the school is looking to hold interviews immediately.

The role will involve teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4, planning and preparing schemes of work, upholding great classroom management and supporting students to achieve the best of their ability.

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:

QTS
Experience teaching Maths up to KS4
Excellent classroom management
Ability to fulfil all aspects of a full teaching role 
Good communication skills
Ability to build good working relationships
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with.
**Rate of pay for this role will be dependent on experience and qualifications**

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 educational based references to be considered for this role.
