Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Window and Door Production manager to join a successful Window Trade Supplier.
Our client has been manufacturing upvc windows for over 40 years, and is known for their excellent working culture and customer satisfaction.
The role responsibilities:
* Controlling the production schedule, coordinating the movement of goods
* Determining the materials and workforce needed to meet production deadlines
* Liaising with other team members and controlling the quality of the final product
* Identifying and improving areas of the production process to maximize efficiency and profits
* Ensure all staff are prompt, at their workstations and on task at all times
* Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
* Oversee production process
* Set production goals and communicate them to others
* Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees
The candidate skills & experience:
* Must have experience as a production manager within the window and door industry (essential)
* Understand LEAN manufacturing
* Excellent understanding of the production of window and door products
* Must currently reside in the UK
