Vacancy: Transport Supervisor

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £32,868-£35,000 OTE per annum

JHP Recruitment are seeking an experienced and responsible Transport Supervisor to join our Glasgow-based distribution client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the distribution centre management team to ensure the completion of next-day deliveries throughout the Glasgow area.

Main Accountabilities:

* Induction and training of new staff

* Ensuring provision of relief cover over holidays and sickness of the driving team

* Supporting the site management team to ensure the fleet is compliant with the O Licence obligations

* Various administrative tasks to ensure daily deliveries are completed within company guidelines

Applicant Requirements:

* Previous experience in a supervisory role, managing a team of HGV Drivers

* A full HGV Category C driving licence

* CPC Card

* Digi Tacho Card

* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

Working hours:

* Start times range between 04:00-07:00

* Monday to Friday
