Learning Support Assistant - Bolton - ASAP start

We are working with an alternative provision in Bolton, who are looking to secure the services of an outstanding learning support assistant for a long-term position due to an increase in the number of children they have. This particular role is to support the needs of students with SEN, who display challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with EBD/SEMH. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour.

This post is to start as soon as possible or after October half term and will continue until the end of the academic year in July. We do require applicants to be able to commit to the role in its entirety.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree educated with a good classification
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Recent behaviour management training completed (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
