We are seeking a dynamic Interim Data Architect to join our Transformation Team and drive a critical data integration project for a leading charity. Key Responsibilities:

Data Infrastructure Implementation: Rapidly assess, design, and implement a flexible, scalable data architecture that supports immediate transformation objectives while enabling future growth. Build and optimise databases, data warehouses, and other infrastructure components essential for integrated service delivery, focusing on housing and social care data.
Data Integration: Ensure seamless data feeds for our new e-rota system, enhancing staff experience and reducing the need for data re-keying. Work closely with the Transformation Team to identify critical data sources and ensure smooth integration across legacy and new systems. Develop solutions for unifying data across departments to create a single source of truth, enhancing transparency and accountability during the transformation phase.
Governance and Compliance: Establish foundational data governance protocols in line with CQC, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements to safeguard client and housing data. Define and implement security standards and data access policies, ensuring compliance with best practices from the outset of the transformation journey.
Data-Driven Insights: Create accessible reporting and analytics frameworks that allow our leadership to make informed decisions quickly and effectively. Enable automated data flows and insights to reduce reliance on manual processes, supporting a faster decision-making cadence during the transition.
Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer: Partner with Transformation Team members to prioritise data initiatives aligned with transformation milestones. Provide documentation and conduct training to ensure knowledge transfer to in-house teams, setting the stage for sustained data literacy and governance practices after the contract period.Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in data architecture within transformation roles, ideally in the non-profit, healthcare, or social care sectors.
Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices, especially under GDPR.
Experience with rapid implementation of database management, cloud-based data solutions, and integration across complex environments.
Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work dynamically within a cross-functional team.
