Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a education environment in North West London

Role Summary:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work within plant rooms, communal areas and class rooms (when available). This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintain electrical plant and equipment, lights, sockets, controls and carry out fire alarms tests, emergency light tests, etc

* Carry out basic plumbing / mechanical tasks, unblocking toilets, temperature checks, air conditioning checks – including hot and cold temperature checks and changes

* Understanding of BMS systems and how to operate them

* Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support team

* Responding to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support teams

* Completing paperwork

* Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Good all round building maintenance experience

* Either –

Electrically qualified – NVQ Level 3 and 17th / 18th edition (beneficial)

Mechanically qualified to NVQ Level 2 (beneficial)

* Previous experience within a commercial building maintenance environment or an education setting essential
