Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) team at Quality Care Cover. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. As an ITU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ITU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on their specific needs.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and responses.

Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.

Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

* Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

* Proven experience in an ITU or critical care setting is preferred but not mandatory.

* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.

* Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care under pressure.

* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

* Flexible and reliable with a professional attitude.

Excellent Pay Rates:

Days: £21 P/H

Nights & Saturdays: £27

Sundays 7 Bank Holidays: £32
