We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join our Pupil Referral Unit in Waltham Forest on a long-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support and guidance in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
Support students who have been excluded from mainstream education, helping them to reintegrate and achieve academic success.
Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Work collaboratively with the wider staff team, including teaching assistants and behavioural mentors, to develop students' social and emotional skills alongside academic progress.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students, parents, and staff.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Maths, ideally within a PRU or alternative provision setting.
Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students with challenging behaviour.
A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
An understanding of the complexities of working in a PRU setting.What We Offer:
