Waldeck are a unique, technology focused, multi-disciplinary technical and risk management consultancy who support the public sector, private and global blue-chip corporations to succeed with heavy infrastructure, industrial and major building projects and also, retrospective digitisation of existing assets.

We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based within our growing projects team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for co-ordinating projects allocated by management, undertaking pre-contract and post-contract activities from feasibility through to settlement of final account.

Within this role your responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with the rest of your team to provide commercial support to other teams.

* Carrying out feasibility studies and interim valuations.

* Preparing cost plans, bills of quantities and cost estimations.

* Preparing tender documents and drawing up tender lists including managing pre-qualifying process.

* Value engineering.

* Cost management of projects including change control.

* Valuing and negotiating variations.

We’re looking for communicative and methodical Quantity Surveyors to join our growing team and be involved in some really exciting up and coming projects.
