Superior Recruitment Group are supporting a major Operator based on Saltend who are looking for a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team.
This is a Permanent position.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards.
The role:
* Support the delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards complying with legal obligations and client statement of requirements.
* Support the development of proposals for new business opportunities, provision of consultancy services and deputy line management responsibilities of the team.
* Where required perform the role of ‘Lead Engineer’ for appropriate projects in line with the scope of work and as-sold budgets (principal only).
* Delivery on time in full for responsible scope.
* Support resource management within the Electrical Discipline.
* Assessing competence within the electrical discipline.
* Support Design Assurance for Electrical discipline.
* Provide on-going technical support to projects and team.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide technical expertise for the specification, design, purchase, installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
* Produce, review and understand associated documentation relating to the design, installation and operation of electrical systems.
* Analyse data, troubleshoot performance, conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations to improve electrical issues.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience of electrical engineering in the delivery of the full project life-cycle including Pre-FEEDs, FEEDs and EPC within chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and power generation industries.
* Experience of designing LV systems.
* Working knowledge and experience of electrical design standards and legislation
* Experience in the specification, modelling, design, purchase, installation and commissioning of electrical systems
