About the Role:

As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching languages to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially with opportunities to teach at A-Level. The school is seeking a dynamic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to develop their language skills, and contribute positively to the department. You will be supported by a committed leadership team and have access to excellent teaching resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach French, Spanish, German or another Modern Foreign Language to students aged 11-16 (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement in language learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and share best practices.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching MFL (French, Spanish, or German) at secondary school level.
Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for language teaching.
Ability to inspire students and promote a love for languages.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK and possess a valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
