About the Role
The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the office. This hands-on position involves managing administrative tasks, overseeing office procedures, and supporting various aspects of roofing projects such as material procurement and labour coordination.
As a well-established and respected Roofing Contractor specializing in high-quality roofing solutions for commercial clients across both pitched and flat roofing, we are seeking a highly organized individual committed to excellence to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring efficiency and organization.
* Financial Management:
* Monthly reporting of sales and purchase ledgers to the finance office.
* Bank reconciliation.
* VAT returns.
* Industry-Specific Tasks:
* Place purchase orders with suppliers.
* Maintain and update weekly material trackers.
* Apply for manufacturers’ warranties.
* Submit operation and maintenance manuals.
* Update project trackers and folders.
* Software & Compliance: Ensure compliance with QuickBooks and other financial software.
* Experience: Roofing/construction industry knowledge is highly preferred.
