The Opportunity:
TD Recruitment is excited to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected construction company based in Cardiff. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Site Engineer to join their team to manage high-profile projects across South Wales and the South West of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to further their career, offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, with a company van provided.

About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality construction projects by overseeing and managing technical and engineering aspects on-site. You will work closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.

* Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying using appropriate tools and technology.

* Ensure work is completed to specification, maintaining strict quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

* Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and site professionals to coordinate activities and ensure timely delivery.

* Maintain accurate site reports, drawings, and project documentation.

* Oversee material and resource management, ensuring efficiency and cost control.

* Ensure that health and safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within the construction industry.

* Knowledge of setting out, surveying equipment, and construction techniques.

* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management practices.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

* Full UK driving licence (Company van provided).

* Valid CSCS card and knowledge of CDM regulations.
