Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a Children’s Care Home in Birmingham.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support children and young people in a residential care setting.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Duties of a Deputy Managerwill include:
·Assist in managing daily operations and leading shifts
·Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
·Supervise, mentor, and support staff, ensuring high care standards
·Lead shifts and provide on-call support when required
·Supervise and support staff, conducting training and appraisals
·Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015)
·Support care planning and advocate for young people’s well-being
·Maintain a safe, well-run home and complete administrative duties
In order to be considered for the role of a Deputy Manager:
·Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it
·Experience working in a children’s residential setting
·Strong leadership, communication, and safeguarding knowledge
·Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (must be flexible to cover if required)
