Our client, a well-established chartered accountancy firm with three offices across Surrey, is seeking a talented Bookkeeper for their Weybridge office. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are keen to handle a diverse range of tasks for owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.

* Prepare and submit VAT returns.

* Develop and manage financial reports including monthly management accounts (10% of the role).

* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial transaction records.

* Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.

* Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

* Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.

* Offer financial support and advice to management.

About You:

* AAT/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in practice bookkeeping within a UK practice.

* Proficient in Xero; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.

* Strong communication skills and adept at client interactions.

* Based locally to Weybridge, with a willingness to start with 5 days in-office during the probationary period.
