Trainee Mechanical Estimator

Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking to step off the tools and transition into an office-based role?

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a M&E contractor that specialize in designing, supplying, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems nationwide.

Due to expansion, they are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team, officed based in Warrington with travel for surveying.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will:

* Work closely with our project and maintenance teams to estimate costs for HVAC systems and plant room upgrades.

* Travel to sites for surveys, ensuring a thorough understanding of live systems.

* Use your real-world experience to assess projects and provide practical input.

* Read and interpret drawings and specifications (training provided if required).

* Prepare cost estimates and support bid submissions.

Requirements

* Practical HVAC experience: A strong background in working with live systems, plant rooms, and upgrades.

* A desire to move off the tools: This role is ideal for someone transitioning from a field-based role to an office-based career.

* Knowledge of drawings and specifications: prior experience is beneficial.
