Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Fire Alarm Engineer to install and monitor various alarm systems on their clients' sites.

Duties include:

Checking clients alarm installation and maintenance on a daily basis, rectifying problems immediately

Deisgn, test, develop and research alarm systems to relevant and current standards which meet the clients exact requirements

Ability to demonstrate core working knowledge of fire detection and fire alarm system maintenance work including BS7671 IET wiring regulations

Ability to carry out safe isolation

Be available and required to have direct responsibility, on a day to day basis, for the safety, quality and technical standard of the fire detection and fire alarm maintenance work carried out by the organisation. This includes being responsible for the competence of all maintenance engineers employed with appropriate support from the organisation

Have evidence of CPD/ongoing training and sharing knowledge of appropriate information regarding maintenance work to relevant employed indivduals e.g. internal training

You must have previous experience of working for an SSAIB/NSI Gold accredited company and have knowledge of major security manufacturers e.g. Texecom, Honeywell, Hikvision, Dahua and Paxton

You must also be familiar with GENT fire protection systems

To apply for this role you need a valid UK driving license, be computer literate with up to date knowledge of current legislation of engineering practise, alarms and systems and have great customer service skills.

You will hold relevant qualifications to HND/HNC level and IPAF is preferred but not essential
