Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can positively impact students’ learning and development? GSL Education is seeking Secondary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners, help them build confidence, and gain valuable school-based experience.

Your Role as a Secondary Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to ensure students remain engaged and on track.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and tailored lessons.

Support students with SEN, behavioural challenges, or additional learning needs.

Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Encourage student participation, independence, and confidence.

Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with secondary school-aged students (in schools, tutoring, or youth work).

Understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs (desirable).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
