Job Description

Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a client that is looking to expand their team and take on a Stores Assistant to work in their busy and productive workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities

To ensure all material movements are made safely with due care and attention to oneself and others
Support and participate in the 5s programme and within the thew stores zones
Carry out other duties as requested by the Material Control Manager
To pick and deliver work orders in a timely manner
Ensure all stock is appropriately secured
Arrange collection of materials for external suppliers
Book orders onto the in-house system
Stock control
Carrying out all necessary paperwork About you

Experience of working in a stores or handler role
Computer literate - Word, Outlook
Experience use of an ERP system
Safe handling principles
Good level of fitness
