We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to Director on behalf of our public sector organisation based in East London.

This is a temporary contract role initially for 3 months with view for further extension thereafter. The hourly rate is £20.51 per hour PAYE. The role is initially until the end of October 2024, with view for further extension thereafter.

The role offers hybrid working, with at least 3 days in the office based in Barking and two days working from home.

Support the Strategic Director and provide high level executive support, delivering multifaceted support, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties
Arrange meetings for directors that do not currently have PA support and cover annual leave/sickness within the team
Administer meetings across various service areas
Act as an effective gatekeeper, answering enquiries on behalf of the Director
Minute taking
Extensive diary management
Travel and meeting arrangements
Draft correspondence on behalf of directorsThe successful applicant will have strong organisational skills, experience providing high level executive support to a director, attention to detail, strong diary management skills and the ability to take minutes at meetings.
