Operations Support Manager (Solar & Renewables)

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: Circa £30k per annum DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you looking to build a career in the renewable energy industry? We are seeking an Operations Support Manager to work with the Operations Manager in overseeing renewable energy installations, including Solar PV and Heat Pump systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in renewables to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing sector.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Support Manager:

•    Assisting with the coordination of installation teams across multiple projects

•    Supporting the ordering and management of materials, tools and equipment

•    Helping to monitor project progress, ensuring installations meet industry standards

•    Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders to provide updates

•    Assisting in resolving on-site issues and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

•    Maintaining accurate records, including risk assessments and method statements

•    Learning about different roof types, structures and installation best practices

Requirements:

•    A strong interest in the renewable energy sector, particularly Solar PV and Heat Pumps

•    Some experience in construction, electrical work, or site coordination (preferred but not essential)

•    Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

•    Strong communication skills for liaising with teams and clients

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•    Full UK driving licence (preferred)
