F1 Mechanical Design - Tooling Engineer - 12 month contract

This amazing long term contract role for a Mechanical Design Engineer a is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading Formula 1 organisation.

You will be a key member within the team and the person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects. The duration of this contract is estimated to be 12 months minimum and will be inside IR35.

What you will do:
You will be experienced using Catia or NX to design complex jigs and fixtures for a variety of machining methods. You will deliver build tooling to all build areas including Electrical, Motor and Gearbox projects and trackside.

What you will need:
You will also have knowledge of modern machining methods and considering costs when designing parts, plus a background of working in the Motorsport, Aerospace, Automotive or other niche engineering sector.
