Children’s Home Registered Manager – Redditch.
Buttons Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Redditch, for a Registered Manager for their 4 bedded, currently, Ofsted “GOOD” rated children’s home.
As the registered manager for this home, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running and operations of the residential home, providing a safe and nurturing environment. You will be focused on ensuring that regulatory compliance and company standards are always upheld to the highest of standards. At the same time as providing leadership and continued support to your staffing teams.
About the Role as a Registered Manager CYP.
* You will be responsible for the Management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
* You will monitor the outcome of progress for children and young people in accordance with their care plans
* You will be responsible for reviewing care plans, ensuring that care is being delivered effectively.
* You will work alongside commissioner officers, local authorities and other health professionals.
* You will ensure that young persons you care for have access to the services which meet with their health, education, social, psychological, emotional needs & wellbeing.
About you.
* You will have held a similar post for at least 1 year and have a proven track record in this field
* You will be prepared to work towards a Level 5 Diploma if not already held.
* You will hold a level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* You will have relevant experience of working in children’s residential settings in a supervisory / managerial role.
* As a leader you will ensure that your teams are upskilled and kept up to date with current legislations, regulations and training.
* A Kind & compassionate leader who show empathy with the young persons you are caring for.
* Have a listening ear, be ready to assist your team.
Our client is offering:
* £52,000 - £57,000 DOE with a £1,000 bonus for Good ofsted report and £2,000 for an outstanding.
