Fork Lift Truck Driver - Birmingham

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a FLT Driver to join and strengthen our clients existing team in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

The successful candidate must possess a counterbalance FLT Licence, have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and have an understanding of FLT practice, including loading and unloading trailers and general handling of various palletised case goods.

Working as a FLT Driver, your duties will include:

A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
Carrying out manual procedures
Loading and off-loading of various goods
Preparing trailers including but not limited to pulling open/closing side curtains and fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
Load securing
Paperwork verification's
Stock control
Manual lifting
Communication with managers/supervisors/stock control team
General warehouse duties and house keepingWhat to expect from the role?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
