Job Title: Proof Test Operative
Location: Denham, Middlesex
Salary: £26 - £27 000.00 p/a.

Job Overview:

Responsible for undertaking a variety of processes including pyro proofing of pyro proofing of pyrotechnic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identification of proof chamber parts to drawing, assembly and disassembly of chamber parts assemblies.

* Set up appropriate firing mechanisms.

* Load cartridge, rocket motors.

* Arm cartridge, rock motors.

* First cartridge, rock motors.

* Collect and analyse firing data.

* Work to correct QAI’s, tech notes and identification of correct drawings.

* Updating SAP.

* Safe use of ovens, freezers and programming of conditioning chamber times.

* Pressure testing of proof chambers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications:

* GCSE’s (Grades A – C).

* Recognised engineering apprenticeship.

* NVQ 3 engineering practices
