Job Title - Qualified Chartered Surveyor
Location - Cheshire
Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
 
Our client is a leading property services provider, offering a comprehensive suite of services across Shropshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, and Wales. They pride themselves on delivering the very best in estate management and property services.
 
Our client is now looking for a capable and experienced Chartered Surveyor to join their team. Based in South Cheshire, you will be involved in managing an extensively diversified and modern estate. This includes overseeing 6500 acres of farmland, and circa 120 – 140 portfolio of residential and commercial properties, as well as emerging leisure and tourism enterprises.
 
The properties are well maintained and the role will be supported by an in-house administration team.  In addition, the role will include assisting with commercial property matters, land and other rural estate management.
Be confident in working in an Estate Office environment with strong knowledge of residential property management, building maintenance and legislation. The ideal candidate should be happy to work in a team, both based in an Estate Office but supported by a wider team remotely
 
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of a large residential portfolio.
Lead on residential tenancy matters, including property management, repairs, refurbishments, and contractor management.
Support the Senior Management Team with strategic decisions related to the estate.
Oversee building maintenance, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Assist with commercial property matters and broader estate management tasks. The Ideal Candidate

MRICS qualified with experience in estate management.
Strong knowledge of residential property management, building maintenance, and relevant legislation.
Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and work within a strategic estate plan.
Proficient in IT and technology applications related to property management.
Highly organized, with a professional attitude and strong communication skills
