IT Systems Engineer - Rugeley
Salary up to - £35k
Onsite 5 days per week
IT Systems Engineer required for a leading client based in Rugeley. My client is currently seeking a IT Systems Engineer to come on board to Responsible for supporting and maintaining clients' IT systems, as well as providing effective desktop support to all end users. The department aims to resolve IT-related issues swiftly and effectively, handling a wide range of requests-from setting up email accounts to performing advanced system diagnostics. Additionally, the team focuses on improving and expanding the IT services offered to clients.
This role delivers advanced technical support the clients customer base, ensuring seamless service across both physical and virtual environments. It also involves the deployment, monitoring, and enhancement of customer IT infrastructure, as well as driving internal service improvements.
Key skills and responsibilities,
Previous Service Desk experience
Assist in executing the IT strategy and strategic initiatives led by the Service Delivery Manager.
Deliver top-tier post-sales support to the clients Managed Service customers.
Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of Remote Monitoring and Management alerts to minimize any impact on client operations
Ensure tickets are resolved within established SLAs.
Mentor and train support staff as needed.
Foster individual performance, enhance technical skills, and drive service improvements when appropriate.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert - desirable
Experience in Azure/AWS architecture, integration, and migration
Deployment and administration of KnowBe4
Ubiquiti deployment and management
Meraki deployment and management
Networking (physical and virtual) including VLAN, LACP, STP, QoS, ACLs, and VRRP
