About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead and oversee our client's design team. This position is integral to managing live projects in the design stage and ensuring adherence to our high standards and Proven Process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage daily operations of the design team.

* Oversee structural testing and calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

* Review incoming project information to verify completeness and readiness for design work.

* Ensure all designs adhere to our Design Standards Manual and company processes.

* Provide tailored guidance to team members based on individual strengths and project needs.

* Develop new designs as required to meet project demands.

* Conduct monthly meetings to foster team alignment and progress tracking.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* Project timelines (target vs. actual completion).

* Customer satisfaction measured by NPS score related to design outputs.

* Right-First-Time (RFT) design accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design management role within the construction sector.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

* Beneficial qualifications include architectural certifications.

* A-Level or equivalent educational background, with construction sector qualifications preferred.

Desired Skills:

* Expertise in design management, including proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools.

* Familiarity with Revit and experience in architectural drawing.

* Strong organisational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
