We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and established Eastbourne company, who are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Finance to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and partnering closely with the business to achieve their goals.
 
About the Role
As Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
Financial Operations: Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including revenue accounting, financial and management accounting, cash flow management, and payroll.
Reporting and Compliance: Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Board and shareholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors.
Team Leadership: Building and developing a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Business Partnership: Collaborating closely with the Operations and Commercial teams to provide financial support, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive business growth. About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with post-qualification experience.
Proven track record in a similar role within an SME, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.  
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software, preferably Xero.
