Ionic recruitment are currently looking for a Project Planner / Co-ordinator on behalf of our client.
Introduction:
Our client, a well-established, family-owned construction company with a £20 million turnover, is seeking a Project Planner / Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in St Annes (FY8), the role will involve working on a prestigious multi-million-pound spa development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its work on landmark projects such as Sealife, commercial schemes, and new build housing for councils like Blackpool and Preston, as well as for Merlin Entertainment.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from inception through to completion.
*
Develop, maintain, and track detailed project programmes using Microsoft Excel Project.
*
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project management team.
*
Identify potential delays or issues early and propose effective solutions.
*
Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and senior leadership to ensure smooth project delivery.
*
Ensure all documentation and project records are kept up to date and accurate.
*
Support the wider team with general administrative and planning duties as required.
Requirements:
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar project planning or coordination role within construction.
*
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel Project is essential.
*
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
*
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
*
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*
Must live within a commutable distance of St Annes (FY8).
