JOB TITLE: Finance Administrator

BASE: 50 Deerdykes View, Cumbernauld, Glasgow G68 9HN

CONTRACTED HOURS: Full-time - 9am to 5pm

SALARY: £24k to £25k

RESPONSIBLE TO: Finance Manager

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Finance Director

JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Administrator is responsible for Purchase/Sales Invoices as well as general Finance Processes within the Finance Department as listed below.

The Finance Administrator is also responsible for managing the Credit Control processes within the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Processing Purchase/Stock Invoices.

*

Manage Purchase Ledger for weekly payment run.

*

Reconciling monthly supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.

*

Liase with suppliers to resolve invoice/payment related queries.

*

Update Cashflow projections spreadsheet.

*

Assist with management/categorization of busy Accounts Mailbox.

*

Allocation Cash daily.

*

Manage Company Credit Control processes.

*

Manage Sales Invoice queries.

*

Processing Credit Card statements.

*

Provide Admin support as required.

KEY SKILLS

*

Experience in Accounts Payable Processes and data entry.

*

Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel – Essential

*

Proficiency in Accounts Software – Sage/Xero

*

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

*

Ability to manage own workload.

*

Department integration. Communicate with the team whilst withholding sensitive information that could cause concern or friction.

*

Excellent customer service skills/telephone manner.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

The post holder must maintain confidentiality of information relating to all clients, service users and staff. The Company operates a GDPR compliant policy.

Employees must be aware of the responsibilities placed on them under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and the Manual Handling Operations Regulations (1992). This ensures that the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for employees, clients and visitors to the Company.

This will include training to ensure that all employees are able to carry out their health and safety responsibilities effectively.

All staff have a responsibility to report all accidents or incidents promptly and, when requested, to co-operate with any investigation undertaken.
