Migrant Help are currently looking for a Senior Client Adviser to join their team in Belfast (Hybrid, with attendance at our regional office at least 3 days a week). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £37,425 per annum.

The Senior Client Adviser role:
Part of the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (MSHT) team in Northern Ireland, the Senior Client Adviser is a rewarding role at Migrant Help. you will provide line management and oversight for MSHT Advisers and will provide a professional, high quality support service to a smaller, more complex caseload of Service Users, as well as taking first responsibility for Adviser escalations.

Key responsibilities of our Senior Client Adviser:
Act as first line of escalation for MSHT Advisers on operational/ safeguarding/ incident matters, case working advice and guidance on complex cases under the overall management of the Regional Manager for Northern Ireland
Work collaboratively with the Regional Manager and other Senior Adviser to manage service capacity, ensuring effective delivery of service in line with contractual requirements
Manage a small complex case load of clients, offering appropriate support to vulnerable Service Users and those with additional support needs as required
Assist the Regional Manager to ensure staff adhere to deadlines for the provision of documentation and data in relation to reporting/financial invoicing to Department of Justice, NI
Review Adviser risk assessments, and respond to Adviser escalations which includes reviewing incident reports and responding appropriately
Work under the guidance of the Regional Manager to undertake service development and staff/service user engagement activities
Attend contract/stakeholder/sector meetings with, or in place of, the Regional Manager as required
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with NGOs, statutory agencies, police, relevant local authorities, partner agencies/stakeholders in the region as part of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan
Skills and experience we are looking for in our Senior Client Adviser:
Experience working with vulnerable people
Excellent self-organisation skills and time management
Ability to explain complicated information to Service Users including the use of an interpreter
Presentation skills with the ability to make briefing sessions interactive
