Job Vacancy: Religious Education Cover Teacher (Long-Term Sickness Cover)

Full-time/Part-time: Part-time (Monday to Wednesday)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RE Teacher to cover a long-term sickness absence at a well-established secondary school and sixth form in L25, South Liverpool. This role is part-time and the successful candidate would be required to teach Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring full engagement and student progress.
Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Tracking and reporting on student progress and providing feedback to both students and parents.Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Religious Education or a related subject.
Previous experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum and examination requirements (e.g., GCSE and BTEC).
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure.About Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool:
